We were back on the Bentley by-pass for SEWTTS 11 - this time for 25 miles for an event run by the North Hampshire Road Club. For a change the skies were simply overcast and not leaking - but the Anemoi saw fitting to keep us on our toes by providing a savage cross wind - the upwind leg saw the wind hitting us at about 10.00 o'clock for much of the course making for slow and painful progress. Heading north east in the opposite direction was a far more enjoyable and speedy experience!

Notwithstanding the blustery conditions, there was a great turn out for this one. 46 women on any startsheet is always a welcome sight!

The category winners were as follows:-

Cat 1: Bronwen Ewing 58:11
Cat 2: Lizzy Brama 59:11
Cat 3: Alice Lethbridge 1:00:28
Cat 4: Caroline Smith 1:09:11
Novice: Jane Dennyson 1:07:21

The final category winners for the series now appear set in stone with just one event still to go - that is
Cat 1: Rebecca Slack
Cat 2: Jasmijn Muller
Cat 3: Alice Lethbridge
Cat 4: Erin Williamson
Novice: Sarah Phelps

It is the minor podium honours that are still up for grabs - so hurry up and get your entries in for the final counting event! We hope to make a fun afternoon of it - if the forecast is good, we may even run a bit of a BBQ at HQ making use of the facilities that are there!

Category winners:- Lizzy Brama, Alice Lethbridge, Caroline Smith, Jane Dennyson

Podium ladies :- Rebecca Slack, Bronwen Ewing and Lizzy Brama
